The leading horizontal in Chile, Yapo.cl, has launched an online platform designed to centralize real estate information in the country.
“On one hand, you have real estate companies that need to have all the brokers in one place so it’s easier to provide information,” said Silvia Halegua, director of Iris’s operations in Latin America. “On the other hand, you have brokers with clients and projects that have specific conditions. Iris is the link between both worlds, connecting companies and brokers in one place.”
The platform provides access to downloadable materials such as project information, price tables, payment methods, rendered designs, plans, meeting schedules and offers. It also includes workshops, project updates and new launches.
Iris was originally developed by InfoCasas in Uruguay and is now going to be implemented by Yapo.cl, as both companies are owned by Malaysia-based global marketplace operator Frontier Digital Ventures (FDV). Yapo.cl was owned by Adevinta before FDV acquired it early in 2021 for $19.5 million U.S.
Currently, Iris is present in Uruguay, Paraguay and Colombia, and as Yapo.cl’s partner will provide access to more than 11,000 housing units. – AIMGROUP
