Central American classifieds site Encuentra24 has named Christopher Music as the company’s chief growth offcer (CGO). He’s expected to help the site expand services in technology, while also adding real estate and auto-related products.

Encuentra24 is owned by Frontier Digital Ventures (42.1 percent) and manages a horizontal site with three dedicated categories that operate as separate verticals: real estate, autos, and jobs.

“We have a new vision as a marketplace leader in the Central American region, and to meet our ambitious growth goals, we need a CGO … to drive our many activities in Panama and Costa Rica,” chief operations officer and founder Wendy Jordan (LinkedIn profile) said.

She added that there’s untapped potential in several Central American markets, including El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala.

Music’s appointment is expected to help the company meet what it’s labeled as “aggressive goals.”

The focus is on developing “specialized” solutions for the regional auto and real estate verticals.

“We want to help both industries to streamline processes and increase sales,” CEO Boris Metraux (LinkedIn profile) said.

Encuentra24 plans to develop “strategic partnerships” to meet the region’s financing and insurance needs.

The company saw its net revenues rise 7 percent in Q3, year-on-year, to AUD 1.8 million ($1.3 million US). – AIMGROUP
