“Our aim is to conclude the entire process, from inspection, auctioning and to the final sale in just seven days. It will be a one-of-a-kind platform in Morocco that includes value-added features to reduce selling and buying cycle times,” said Yousfi.

Abderrazak Yousfi went on to say that once a request from a seller is received, the car will go through an inspection process to ensure that the car is in good condition. After this, the company will evaluate the exact market price and once the bidding terms are agreed, the auction will be opened to bidding.

“When the best offer is accepted, we will assist with the ownership transfer procedures as well as a final payment. We will basically handle the whole transaction between the seller and car dealers,” explained Yousfi.

He also shared that car dealers will be allowed to start bidding for only between four to eight hours maximum.

Yousfi explained that for car dealers, Moteur.ma will create an entirely new way for the industry to win more trades, acquire more used inventory, and sell more cars at a lower cost.

“We will enable dealers to instantly find buy-ready customers and locate exactly what they want, all online. For sellers, there is an opportunity to secure a better price should there be a strong demand among bidders. With the online platform, sellers will be able to reduce the waiting time required to sell their car compared to the traditional method, “concluded Yousfi. – Online Marketplaces
